Claire first realized she enjoyed working with babies in 1998, when she spent the summer volunteering at St. Ursuline's Orphanage, in Malta.
However her artistic flair took her into a different direction, following her passion for Make-up. She then studied for two years to become a make-up artist. Claire was nominated for Make- up Artist of the year, two years running, in Malta, then in 2006 she left in search of new opportunities in London. There Claire, Lectured, focused on make up journalism and experienced many exciting aspects of the fashion world and make-up industry.
Claire then settled in the town of Westcliff-on-Sea, in Essex, which enabled her to spend more time with her family. During the evenings and weekends, Claire worked at the studio of a world renowned photographer, as his in house make-up artist. She then started to help out at her son school by day, sometimes taking courses the school offered such as parenting assertiveness among numerous parent and child courses, including her NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Development and pediatric first aid. She also worked at a local primary school, as a teaching assistant (LSA), which was a truly rewarding experience. Claire left this role to have her second baby.
As all mothers do, Claire wanted to offer her baby the best start to life. She looked through several mother and baby class options, for opportunities to help her interact and better bond with her baby, while her older son was at school, yet also meet other parents with babies of the same age group. She tried many different classes, but This need was only met when she discovered Baby Sensory. These classes taught Claire how to play, sooth and interact with her baby. They also helped her build new friendships.
Claire soon realized that these classes were extremely beneficial for both baby and parent, because these sessions were not only fun and exciting, because every session was different, but gave her baby a head start in life, holistically developing her baby's senses, and helping her reach all her milestones before target age.
